Wow, it's Christmas, give e and all the other XBL guys a break. Damn, some people act like they have nothing better to do than sign into XBL and play games online all day long. Oh wait, that's probably all they do...

I'm sorry you folks don't have a real life that when XBL goes down you throw a hissy fit because you can't have fun in your real life...

I mean, how often does XBL go down? Only on occasion and it's usually fixed within 24 hours of going down. I'd be pissed if I missed 2-3 days in a row. One day isn't going to kill you and you can still play most games offline anyway...

I'm not a big fan of these, but it's good to see their sticking to their promise of having 80 point songs and pumping out the tracks. I just bought "Joker and the Thief" and "Buddy Holly" this morning after I got the game for Christmas. Woop

yeah even though these aren't everyone's favorites its still dlc and its still only 99 cents each. these prices are blowing guitar hero 3 out of the water. if the wireless guitar wasn't so sweet for gh3 i would sell my gh3 and get rock band only but i think i will keep gh3 and get rock band as well. i hope gh3 sees this and realizes how much money can be made.

Yes, 80 points is perfect! I'll be buying all of these just to support the price point if anything.

Here's hoping for some Linkin Park, KoRn, StainD, and some Breaking Benjamin down the line! :)

Thanks a million to the intellegent people in Xbox Live Operations. Thanks to all their brain power Xbox Live was well prepared for the extra traffic from all the new Xbox's on Christmas.

According to the announcement at www.rockband.com/.../showthread.php this special holiday price will only last a limited time.

I'm guessing that they'll be this price for a couple weeks, and after that they will revert to 160 MS Points ($1.99)

Wow. Harmonix is making RedOctane is making GH3 look like crap. GH3 just had 3 foreign songs, which all SUCKED, for 200 points each. This week, Rock Band has 5 songs from good rock bands (30 Seconds to Mars is great) for less than half that price.

It isn't even a contest anymore, Rock Band won a long time ago.
