I have games that dont work even when connected. I have deleted and re-downloaded but still they dont work. And what if I were to lose my job and not be able to afford internet connection? I dont want no DRM, I want fair DRM, and I'm sure that everyone complaining wants fair DRM. Nobody has said get tid of DRM, just fix it.

It really sucks to be treated this way by M$ because I still have my old xbox with over 70 games, All my 360 games have been bought not rented, and until recently I was happy handing over my cash for arcade games and DLC. I consider myself to be a good customer that just wants to be able to use what he has paid for.

To the fine folks at Microsoft:

Do you guys have a Quality Control thing going on with XBLA at all? Because this game obviously skipped right past it if you do.

Sound Emulation is horrible. Controls are horrible, better with the alternative settings, but still not acceptable for a game of this type. The screen is crunched down. The Enhanced Mode isn't even the default in this game, you have to select it. When you do select it... my god. This is the worst 'Enhanced' Mode I've seen so far on XBLA. The rainbow colored cones are now just RED, the graphics don't look like they changed at all save for a few spot in the levels, and it actually makes the game less appealing.

You guys need to look at this game and think about the quality you want players to expect and see if this meets that standard. Considering MAME has had this game emulated perfectly for over 10 years, this is absolutely shameful.

So, yeah..iTunes DID get it right even though it took awhile.

re: Arcade: Tron

Yeah, the controls are not only not very good, but the sound emulation is way off, as has been the case with many of the XBL conversions by Backbone. Digital Eclipse did a much better job when it was just them.

The sound is clearly not functioning properly as many of the effect, primitive though they may be, are being emulated at a slower chipset or something. Also, part of the sound comes from different speakers, which has to be a glitch as the original game was mono. For example, when in the tank arena, the tank engine noise comes from the left speaker and the shots come from the right...maybe a bug with Dolby Digital or something.

Kind of a disappointment.

We just want middle ground. iTunes doesn't have problems with piracy - it still has DRM.

We don't want the DRM to go away. We just want to be able to transfer our licenses. Theoretically, to do that, you'd have to have the console online to begin with, so there's no way you could start cloning licensed games - the games would lose licenses first, have the licenses returned to MS, and then you'd re-acquire them on the new console. If you sent in your console, then they'd update the DB when your console came in.

If you started trying to clone your HDD, people still wouldn't be able to play the games because the keys are still tied to your console.

We just want to be able to re-assign where those keys go.

iTunes got it right.
