&lt;p&gt;Your power getting knocked out by a storm would be a force majeure whereas Live going down due to Microsoft's update for the 360 and the extra users over Christmas are both completely avoidable actions that the company should've accounted for.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thank you for responding about the drm issue major. &amp;nbsp;Sorry if I had missed where you had commented on it before. &amp;nbsp;I think I had only seen a while back that you said they were working on it, but if you have said anything other than that, I would like to see where it is so I can get some more background on why this is so hard to fix. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I wonder why you can't comment on it, considering some will take it as &amp;quot;absolute&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think we would just like a blog post regarding this issue that responds to our concerns with why it is taking so long to fix, and why tech support is such a problem to deal with, with the current solution. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As you may know major the current solution allows you to call tech support and they can deauthorize your old xbox and authorize your new one (supposedly), but many people have had problems with this given the fact that xbox tech support is notoriously hard to deal with. &amp;nbsp;it has taken a lot of time and phone calls for some people to get this fixed, and many people just give up. &amp;nbsp;I have about 6 arcade games that have the online only problem, but after hearing all of the stories about tech support, I have opted not to go through that myself until I either get better at geometry wars (so if I disconnect from live my score won't disappear), or tech support gets better.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But I would just be wondering first why this horrible system was put in place in the first place, seeing as how these problems could have probably been foreseen beforehand, and I wonder did Microsoft think, it was worth those people having those problems rather to make sure we had no piracy ourselves. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And why has it taken over 2 years to even get what we have now? &amp;nbsp;Itunes started with a good policy of easily authorizing and deauthorizing computers, zune is ok with zune pass, why can't you guys just change it so we can get just one authorized xbox like we have now and be able to deauthorize. &amp;nbsp;And there should be a way to be able to play your content on someone else's xbox that lives somewhere without broadband, maybe by authorizing hard drives or something to play content and not just xbox's.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Now regarding his show....is he actually saying something about a milestone fix to be in place before next week? &amp;nbsp;Around the 51 minute mark 'e' talks about playing games this weekend, and Major breaks in to say we'll be playing games for sure next week - not to mention 'e' stating that they might actually have something to talk about next week. &amp;nbsp;Did I hear this all incorrectly, or is this just a hope of mine? &amp;nbsp;Perhaps - but I still find it odd that they would bring up playing games next week over this week.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You're truly in love with the Xbox and the old adage of 'Love is blind' has never been more true than in this case. If you're girlfriend cheated on you, would you be ok with that as she had already given you several years loyal service?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I like my Xbox but that doesn't mean that I should have to put up with shoddy customer service, intermittent Xbox live for the past month and accepting a game as a 'celebration' of this fact.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It's hard to take my money elsewhere when I have already made such an investment in the XBOX 360. I have paid for and activated a 13 month subscription to XBL in November. I cannot therefore stop giving MS my cash as they have already had it, all most of us are trying to do is get a straight answer rather then be told such nonsense as it's you router or your ISP. We would also like to know what sort of compensation we will get for nearly a months downtime. If it was a few days I wouldn't be at all bothered!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I've got a support call open with MS and urge you all to do the same, being vocal on MS owned sites is the only other way to try and get something done.&lt;/p&gt;
