After much wrangling with Mr. Syed Gupta I was credited the 800 points, since I bought the game when it first came out. Woo hoo!!! Dont understand why everyone hates on this game. Can be quite fun.

How come I am just now learning about this on Tuesday, Jan. 29th I thought MS or Xbox LIVE was going to send some type of message saying something. Instead I had to find out about it 2 days later from another website in their forums.

I was out of town and away from my computer for a few days, found out about the free game a few days too late. I like how M$ keeps this free window short and quiet. I don't see how it would have been a problem to shoot a message to every gamertag.

Major Nelson here posted I see on the 23rd that the game would be free, for 5 days!?! WTF!

I was out of town this week and wont be able to download this supposed free offering, i didnt think the offer would be so great anyway, but the fact that i literally missed out on it rather than it being an XBLA token or a code mailed out is kind of sad. what the heck?

I've called support 5 times trying to straighten out getting reimbursed 800 points since I bought this when it was released. Apparently the problem is that I changed the Windows Live ID that was associated with my gamertag and now support is unable to find my download history. They've escalated it from a supervisor to upper management and I should hear something back in 5 business days. Wow....just wow.

SaberJ, yes actually Comcast gave me a credit for the days it was down when I had issues about a year ago.
