Those kind of games should be free! there are so many free chess game on the internet! Chess, Checkers etc.. should be free!

I would like to know this as well. I love a good chess game, but I dont want to spend $10 on it without knowing that its going to be worth it.

Has anyone actually bought it yet? I've enjoyed the pc versions of chessmaster and I'm curious if this really compares to that in terms of options or if it is a really watered down version.

Bit much - 800. Which is equivalent to $10. I could understand it if the AI is superb and up-to-date. But why would I play local when I can pull out my nice Medieval Ivory set and play in this world, rather then the XBLA world, where if Live is down, I can't play. Consider 500 MP, and I will consider.

ROFL, just remove 400 points now since it is only reserved for games in the early 80's now.

I find it very difficult to justify spending this much on an xbla game. Let me know when the price drops to a more reasonable amount.

What happened to all of the $5 games? I'm willing to throw away 500 points on an xbla game, but not 800, unless it's REALLY amazing.

Sorry but chess has been around for a long time & to me it's considered an old game/title. This should be 400 points not 800. I'll just wait until spring to get some extra MS points since that's when the new set of H3 maps are coming out. Between Bioshock (just got it a few weeks ago) & Burnout Paradise (think of getting it) I can't squeeze another $10.
