There was a new feature added, it's called kill my 360 and pay Microsoft $130 to fix it.

Sorry Major, but as it says you are forced to download it even without use of chinese characters, I thought it may have some hidden bug fixes :)

i noticed that my 360 performed better after the first update. i bought my 360 6 months after launch...i havent had any problems with heating, or problems with the games like oblivion... i have only noticed better framerates and load times after the update of oblivion... may the prolems are with the first batch of 360s at launch. i only have 2 games tho...oblivion and nba 2k6(just got this one cause at best buy it only sells for $ 29.99) and the rest of the ganes i have played are all demos. i hope the next update includes a web browser...so in addition to playing games while downloading you can browse fav sites like joystiq, digg, xbox-scene, gamevideos, etc. hey when will xbox live arcade release casino games...could we possibly play with microsoft points?

Cool, Im glad to hear that Micrsoft is always updating our lil baby, the 360. XBOX 360 is #1 keep up the progress.

Another update, and ANOTHER several minutes of my 360 locking up, spazzing out, going to 3 red LEDs in the ring... Same problems last week, from an otherwise model-behavior launch-day 360. Finally got it to behave. after multiple restarts and freezes on the opening animation. Launching a 360 title seems to start the healing process, but it still took several more restarts. For cryin' out loud... GET IT TOGETHER, YOU GUYS _ARE_ AN 'OPERATING SYSTEM' COMPANY RIGHT?

I'm not doubting you major but i've noticed that since the update, whenever i try to exit outta my friends list using the guide button, the console freezes. Without meaning to sound too much like a sony fanboy, MS's Xbox division haven't brought any of the coders from the windows side over have they? Cos my console's starting to run buggy and slow like my XP Pro laptop...and i'm not liking it one little bit.

Another issue. Since my nephew is getting a replacement system, all of the Xbox Live Arcade content/themes will now only work ONLINE. In OFFLINE mode all purchased games revert to trial versions. How messed up is that? I'd love to see Microsoft address and FIX this issue. Screw portability, I want to play the games I purchased offline or online.

My nephew downloaded the last dashboard update and then got the 3 lights of death. Thankfully Microsoft is sending a coffin and then a replacement for free. If they ever try to tell me I have to spend $125 to get it fixed, i'll go immediately to the news organizations and let them know Microsoft refuses to replace defective, overheating consoles. And I'll leave tons of messages for Mr. Sega Peter Moore. My Atari 7800 still works, after all. To pay $400 for a system and have it only work for 6-8 months is just... wrong. Don't you think?

I'm glad that MS knows that everyone matters and that the world doesn't revolve around America. I am sure gamers in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. are happy to see this update.
