Themes and GamerPics should be free for Gold members in my opinion. They get free advertising for their game in the gamerpics so its cheeky to ask people to pay for them.

You are not ripped off if you think it is worth your money. It is not like UBI is saying give us 15 dollars for some mystery download. You know exactly what you are getting for the money. If you find it worth it, then the price is just fine.

Remember that this is all relative. If you buy this someone may think you got ripped, but you obviously didn't think so. That is all I am saying.

NJPMAN: whatever dude, I'm sick of arguing about this. its there, the price is 15 dollars, and I'm gonna wait until I have played the rest out of my other games. I still believe that you can buy something, even though you were ripped-off. you are right though, some purchase may be worth it to you, but technically you were still ripped-off by some high price, again, though it may be worth it to you.

Interesting, 1200 point is half the price of an expansion. 4 maps is half the maps you would get etc. Sounda about right. I did expect it to come in at 800 points. I think this is an experiement - 1200 will likely be a little too high for a lot of people so maybe they will release future stuff at a lower price point. We shall see.

Flame...It cannot be considered a ripoff if you GET IT. It just can't. It might seem like a rip to someone else, but if you pay for it then you think it is worth your money. No one is making anybody get this stuff. If I bought Halo 3 for a $100 it would be because I think it is worth it. If I didn't then I would keep that $100 for something else. Of course we want all this cool content to be super cheap, but just won't always be the case.

NJPMAN: you may be right. Halo is an amazing series.. if they charged 100 dollars for a Copy of Halo 3, would you still get it? I sure would as many others despite it being a rip off. Just because of how great the Halo serious have been, and how great Halo 3 will be.

Flame...then you really don't think it's a ripoff if you get it. I don't know if it is a rip or not, but I do know that whining about extra premium content costing money is a waste of time. If you don't like the price don't pay and maybe the next developer will be cheaper. These devs are testing the water price-wise to see what they can get away with. You cannot fault them for that.

not sure how to solve this problem. one side thinks its premium - the other thinks its rip-off. very hard for game-companys to release something on marketplace that makes both sides happy...
