influential discussion forum eh? All I see is exactly what you posted about...that is a whole bunch of people saying "shut up", "stop crying" or name calling ("whiners"). Yeah I was one of them...why? Because you guys WHINE! You complain and go boohoo too much, thinking Ubisoft will go, oh poor baby! Instead you should state your views on why the prices need to go down in a mature matter. NOT by saying "m$ suks teh big ones...i gettin a ps3 cus of dis bS!!" And I know Major Nelson said he would forward all this...but after seeing how many whiners there are compared to the VERY FEW people that expressed themselves in a mature manner...I wouldn't be so sure that Major Nelson would even TRY to send all this. He would have to go through every single 487 posts, and determine which is bad and which is good. I'm sure he has much better things to do than to do something you could do yourself by going up to Ubisoft personally. This IS the wrong place to try and make a revolution. Go to the source (Ubisoft). NO OTHER WAY is going to be more effective. Otherwise, this blog, and every other forum on the internet, will stay how it is and probably get worse...that is a whole bunch of whiney cry babies mixed with people saying shutup. Nelson already said he would communicate our reactions to Ubi. You think the sheer number and fervor of us "complainers" won't be expressed?

a valid argument SHOULD be repeated until there's a valid response. all the responses happy with the price so far have consisted of "shut up", "stop crying" or name calling ("whiners"). hardly an argument at all.

this is an influential DISCUSSION forum with ties to the source, so yes, this IS the place (as is Ubi itself of course.)

This kind of reaction WAS exactly what made Bethesda come off their "Horse" and start charging reasonably. sure won't change it won't change the price of the original content (that would be admitting a mistake), but i think we're being heard and can expect more ACTUAL NEW content in GRAW: Chapter 3....

My point was that this particular pack is not going to go down. So bitching at Major Nelson wouldn't change a single thing. I agree with everybody that the pack is too expensive..but it doesn't mean I (or anybody) should complain EVERYWHERE about it. Enough is enough. This whole "plan a boycot!" thing wont work. Want to know why? Because you are only affecting the decisions of users on this blog. That's less than 1% of everybody else. No matter how hard you try to scream about it, people will still buy the pack. Why? Because new maps are fun, and if you don't have them, you are considered stupid (not to mention some people just have loads of money). New maps extend gameplay greatly, and make dull games new again. Lots of people got tired of the normal campaign maps...and the idea of having much larger 4 new maps was heaven. Sure 15 bucks is big...but it pays off. Now...back to the whiney people, what you CAN do is wipe those tears off your face, talk to Ubisoft DIRECTLY, and show your concerns there. Otherwise, they wont care. It's not like Ubisoft employees raid the internet searching for posts about what people think about chapter 2 content.. You have to actually tell them personally. So please, for the love of ***, take your 'concerns' elsewhere :)

This is a response to "the special kids" what do you mean it will not make any difference? In your post you point out that it does make a difference?? Oblivions horse pack was too much, noone bought it so the other DLC that has come out for Oblivion has been at a lower price point and gives you alot more content..So why wouldn't this be the same for GRAW?? So this crappy pack might be overpriced but the developers will listen and give us more content or combine this content with new content for a better price per content added!!

I found a bug in GRAW since the new relite maps.. oops I mean "Chapter 2" content got released. If you try to join a friends server that is using the pack and you don't own it, it brings up a dialog letting you know. If you press A twice (couple times) too quickly the game gets stuck saying "Connecting..." and you can't get rid of the dialog box unless you either sign off of live! or restart the game. (BTW is there a bugreport e-mail at ubisoft?) Ubisoft don't punish us just cause we don't believe in your pricing of content, its not our fault we like money put towards something actually worth our hard earned $15. Hasn't our $60 investment already lined your pockets enough?

Major, I know you said you would forward the more eloquantly stated comments to the guys who made GRAW, so I'll try and put this as well as my wordsmith"ing" skills will allow. I just finished the Perfect Chapter 1 Achievement, and what great fun it was. This part made the game for me. Solo was fun, but co-op is awesome. It has been mentioned above, if you can filter it out of all the moaning and complaining, but any chance that maybe there was a small mistake and they forgot to put achievements for chapter 2 in the final release of the DLC? I wss sure there would be achievements for it, since they didn't give 1000 out of the box. If you could slip this question to them, I would be most greatful. Thanks. you wont change a god damn thing by not buying this pack. Remember how the makers of Oblivion realized their Horse Armor pack was too high in price? and in result they lowered the cost of future releases? BUT even though...the horse armor pack stayed the same! gasp!

It won't change. People will buy it. You can complain all you want, but it won't help. If you want to play it...get it...if you don't want to play it...don't get it.

Understand?

If not and you still are mad that PC users get it for "free"...ditch your 360 and upgrade your PC! You chose to get a console...just like you can choose to buy content.

Listen up first off everyone who bough this map pack is hurting the console gamming community. If you buy this lackluster update for the insane price they are charging devs will think they can get away with this bs. So remember everyone who bought this crap and thought "15 bucks thats nothing!" When your paying another 15 bucks for graw chapter 6 another 15 bucks for Geas of war: chapter three and ANOTHER 15 buck for Mass effect: Chapter 1. I blieve you get the point. If dev can release *** they COULD have sold with the full game of for a FAIR amount of points at a later date for a huge amount of money they will. They want your cash idiots.

I'll say it again, stop crying. The pc content is not as much, and NOT the same as what we are getting on the 360. I play GRAW a lot, and I have NO problem paying 15 dollars for what we are getting. It's a lot of good stuff, and money well spent!!

EVERYONE I've played with online have NO problem with the 15 dollar tag, they as well as me feel it's a fair price. Stop crying and whining, you pay more for PC game expansion packs you clowns!

if ubi wasn't listening somebody was. the cod2 5 map pack out thursday is 800 points, a cut from the expected 900. ubi is my favorite publisher and team of developers, but i sure as hell lost faith in their console marketing department. someone in charge should lose a job over this.

I totally agree with that the content is way to high priced, I'm a real ubisoft fan there games are great (normally) but with this they just hit the bull eye like I know EA own 19.8% of you this does not mean you can just act like them.

And what kind of license has been bought to get this content?

I can tell you the 400 points for PGR3 is better spent then this DLC the fact that Licensed cars are way more expensive then a few fictively created maps cammo etc. even if you guy's had to pay for the license of the weapons this is not even close to the license of actual car's with they put in PGR3.

Plus with GRIT (with 13 DLC's) GR2 (whith 3 DLC's) and GR2:SS (with one DLC or was it 2 what ever) there where all free non of them was a premium content.

Question does chapter 2 upholds the thrill, nope not for 1.200 point sure not.

Editing new weather to old maps is still a old map to me and most of us.

New cammo really come on like I care!!!

New weapons, there is still no M-249 MK so who cares.

New co-op missions do we get achievements I don't think so.

Plus PC content is totaly free what the hell does this mean we get a special backside woop'n or what?

So I do not say they have to do it for free, for me 500 or 600 was max but 1.200 (13€) point is just insane, this money (points) can be spent on other things to come.

Ubisoft you really let a big part of the community down I'm really sorry to see that......

Let us not forget that it costs UBI nothing to sell a "unit" of this content. For each GAME dvd sold there are duplication and publishing costs. The only costs incurred for *distribution* of a content update like this is bandwidth (which I presume is covered anyway since we can all download 700mb demos for "free") So while it make take a month per map, or whatever, it costs nothing to make a copy of the data. The actual cost of production could be covered even if the content price was tiny, as many MANY more people would then be inclined to purchase it. 1200 is too much. I'm quite happy to pay for new content, but I look for value for money in every purchase, there is little here! That said, I've already bought the content.. but I'm offended enough by the price tag to post here. It is too much for too little. Lower the price and the consumer will be happy, more people will purchase and you'll recoup the cost of production just through more purchases.

Has anyone seen a comment from UbiSoft or Microsoft as to the pricing of this DLC? I'd like to hear Ubi's position on the pricing. At least Bethesda came out and commented on the pricing of the Horse Armor pack and it seems like the subsequent expansion packs have been more appropriately priced. Don't drop a bomb on us gamers, Ubi, and not explain your reasoning behind it.

I'll either wait for the price to drop or just wait for Rainbow Six Vegas. Heck, 1200 points is 1/4th the cost of the entire frickin' game!
