That's a cool price.. and a good headset. Problem is there is no volume control or mute if you use it on your 360.

Well, it depends. It does work for your xbox 360, but you can't mute or adjuste the sound, which is too bad.

I have one, and I'm not using it anymore because of this.

Wonderful to see all these comments about Prey in the Plantronics headset topic. I'm getting sick of hearing about Prey... I WAS going to buy it, but now I don't want to hear anything more about this stupid game. Its not like 3D Realms has put out anything decent since what... 1997? The immature little pissants doing all of this complaining probably weren't even born yet. Get your mommies to change your diapers babies, and go back to watching Dora the Explorer. You're not mature enough to own a video game system, much less buy Prey.

Anywhoo, I ordered a headset. I'd been thinking about getting one, since my current headset is on its last, duct-taped legs. Great timing!

That is an awesome price! I've owned my Plantronics Halo 2 headset for a few years now and it's brilliant; great sound and comfortable. Now that Datel have released a dongle for 360 controllers, which is designed for Xbox headset connections, you can have a volume control and mic on/off switch at hand too.

Indeed, BEAST. I selected the 3-7 day ground shipping option and my shipping cost was only $5. Unless you live in low earth orbit, I'm betting you indeed did select next day air.

For those with concerns, while it is true that it doesn't show the shipping cost until after you've selected a shipping method, you still have the option to cancel the order on the page that shows the total cost.

The Halo 2 headset sucks though. Rather, I hate it. It uses an earbud. I hate earbuds. I don't see how people can use the earbuds included with music players.

There was another Plantronics headset that was pretty nice though. At least, the one I had was nice, until it got stepped on. ;(

Maybe I'll buy a cheap $12 headset at Meijer or something.

90% of you people are absolute p*ssies. I can't believe how many ignorant f*ck heads are out there. Microsoft has NOTHING to do with the delay on the Prey demo! The idiots over at 3dReals already posted that THEY delayed the demo and it was still in testing phases as of last week. You morons should do a little more reading before posting the same old *** over and over again. And Major, I agree that you should disable comments and not even put up with this silly childish BS.

Too bad you can't let them send the headset to Holland.

And all the babies crying about the Prey demo: Download the Feeding Frenzy demo. It is on Marketplace already and it is a really fun game. And remember that you're not paying for marketplace, but to play online. Downloading demo's from marketplace is free of charge. Some of you sound like spoiled brats.

I came to this forum to try to find out if anyone knows the shipping price for the headset, since it doesn't list it till after I give my credit card info, but instead it's full of a bunch of whiners complaining about content you aren't even paying for. This website has got to have the worst forums I've ever seen. Maybe I won't get a 360 if it's just full of some of the worst people I've ever seen.
