What kills me is that all the promised demo's and games for XBL like SF2 that we really want see no release, but a crap demo for a crap game that was released months ago and all who want it have it like Top Spin 2 gets a freaking second demo release. What the hell, there is something about that that just makes me want to vomit in my own mouth and then choke on it.

I will keep this one brief. It is Friday morning, there is still no demo, yet IGN somehow managed to get a different, expanded build from 3D Realms and wrote an article on it. Bullshit, utter bullshit. 3D Realms, you can give IGN this version for a writeup but yet you guys and MS can't get the first version out? I am pretty sure that there is a good (i.e. download the mp3 from marketplace) reason for this, but to me that is a ANOTHER slap in the face. But this week I am kind of used to that from MS. Heh, I guess being a 360 owner isn't all that it is cracked up to be. Add to the fact that XBL guys don't work again until Monday (right before the 4th too), means that this will not change anytime soon. Man, that leaves a bad, bad taste in my mouth. That is all I am going to say. That and Sunday's podcast had better have some damn REAL, LEGIT, TRUTHFUL, GOOD answers or I might have to consider just washing my hands of this crap. Because you only want to feel stupid for so long...

First of all: To all people that are posting things like 'thank u major' drewl drewl... 'keep up the good work' fart fart fart... People that ask 'Where is...?' are standing in their right!! They should registrate this blog so that whe can keep all those over-positive hippy fcks from posting ass-licking comments. Look around you, and tell me what is so positve to life as most of us see it? One positive thing is GAMING.. People that think whe are whining and trolling I would love to meet in a multiplayer shooter and blow their brains all over the map. Because of positive adoring fcks like this M$ knows they won't have to hurry with anything because 'the people are patient'. If everyone was negative about their product they would for sure put in more effort for making their product positive again.. Fck patience, bussines is bussines & deadlines are deadlines. Life goes on, and so does the lives of people who develop and publish games. Summer time is no excuse for so little game releases.. I have my 360 for 3 months now and backthen I was confident M$ was doing a great job. That changed because I'm experiencing the same things as 'those whiners' who are in fact telling the truth. On top of that comes system freezes and what comes forth out of that: the issue with 'the ring of light' people (including myself) are having those 3 redlights (wich indicates an internal error) and are getting very shitty customer support. My 360 is on ebay already and I'm waiting for the PS3 as a last hope of getting the right thing I expected for next-gen... De Balle van Society-verachter

Hi Major, Thanks for your comments. Speaking as someone that works in the software industry I can completely understand where you're coming from. The issue here however isn't so much the missed date, but the lack of transparicy from MS over this and other Xbox owner gripes. If we over run on a software deployment we at least try and give the customer a 'ball park' figure as to how much longer we think it'll take. We also provide regular updates of where it is in the certification process, how many hoops we have to get through and are honest about what the problem is. You have my sympathies as I fully understand that this isn't your job and you take the heat simply because you've been good enough to shed light on this and previous issues...and do it off your own back in your own time. But the average user shouldn't have to wait for a podcast from you. There should be an official forum/newsletter with regular daily updates. This may sound OTT, but were all passionate about games and gaming - hence the flames (!) Anyway...Keep up the good. I love the podcast and appreciate the efforts you make. If PS3 of Nintendo allow anything as genuine or informative when they launch then I'll eat my PS2. Including the stand.

Get a grip - start releasing dates, and then delay, and gives a good reason for it. That we can understand, instead of this silence.

Hey they reason we are 'bitching' is because most content is not worth the price of admission. Yeah I bought the content for GRAW. Im happy with the maps and game modes. Everything else is kinda tacked on to raise the price of the download. What happened to actual microtransactions? Over promised and under delivered. I miss the old days of $5 dollar map packs on Live. Shoot, I'll buy them for 10 bucks now. 15 dollars = TOO damn much for a game that costs 60 dollars already. The funny thing is the UK and Europe pay even more. Im the type that if I want something I go buy it. Its not a thing about being cheap. I know plenty of people that just cant afford this Next-Gen form of rip-offs. Its simple people. Overpriced gamerpics, themes and downloadable content. Add on the CONSTANT delays without any information from Microsoft. This includes demos, games and the atrocious back compatibility list. All it ends up doing is irritating our collective vaginas. We have the right to complain. If we dont give them the right feedback nothing is ever going to get fixed. I wonder how hard it is to certify a tiny .jpg image or a theme. We get those almost everyday. We get them shoved in our faces. I see it like this, starve a shark then feed him a goldfish and he'll bite. Thats what's happening here. They starve you for content and release something like a theme and it'll sit there in your face everytime you go into marketplace (Im looking at you horse armor!). Oh and another thing that no one has commented on. Why do Xbox Live Gold members have to have all this advertising on our console? Its only cosmetic but it makes me feel like Im going shopping NOT gaming. Im all for advertising on the Marketplace or on a Silver account. Thats what MARKETPLACE is for. If I dont put up with advertising on my web browser, why should I on my console? Yeah I found another thing to complain about but its a valid point.

Anyways, it's way overdue. Either they release it today (they don't release things on fridays) or they don't release it at all.

You can't "tantalize" us with something MS. Like I said, I'll probably lose interest in the game completely by the time the demo's out anyways.
