Major why hasn't microsoft launched movie/tv downloads via marketplace yet? /the point system is in place already... it's a secure system why not? i mean im sure fox/cbs/nbc would all jump at it... i mean ok trailers are fun but i'd really rather be able to do an itunes style video watching on my 360... 150 points an episode or something? i mean what's microsoft waiting on?

Meh. The Simpsons jumped the shark around the beginning of Season 3.

More precisely, the point when they started relying on celebrity cameos, introducing gimmicky characters, writing plots that went nowhere (but hey, that's the joke, right?) and turning Homer from a lovable idiot to a nasty, right-wing, self-centered, gun-loving red-neck.

Nice one - but does anyone else think the encoding on the 720p version leaves something to be desired when played on an HD screen? There was ghosting around Homer when I played it back (lovely new screen that's perfect so it's not that).

It's a shame becuase stuff like the Cars trailer and the Scanner Darkly trailer are utterly stunning.

BTW If you want to show off HD to a friend then play the Scanner Darkly trailer. Wow.
